"Once there was a sculptor.  He wanted to make a statue, so he searched for a suitable stone.  When he went to the store, he saw just what he wanted and asked the owner, ‘What is the price of the stone?’  The owner replied, ‘You can take it for free.’ ‘Why?’  -- ‘For many years this stone has been lying around in my store, nobody wants it, it is useless. If you want, you can use it.’

The sculptor, very pleased with himself, took away the stone.  After some time he came back with a beautiful statue of an angel and when he saw the shop keeper, he offered him the statue.  The shopkeeper was a bit wary, ‘I can’t purchase this statue, it may be very expensive.’  – ‘You have no need to purchase it, it is a gift for you.’  ‘Why?’ asked the shop keeper. ‘Do you not recognize me?’ asked the sculptor, ‘Do you remember, there was a piece of stone lying in your shop for many years, and you gave me the stone for free?’ – ‘Yes’, agreed the shop keeper, ‘now I remember.’ The sculptor explained, ‘I am that man, and from that stone I have made this beautiful statue.’ ‘How could you have made such a beautiful from a useless stone?’ The sculptor answered, ‘When I looked at the stone, I did not see a stone. In the stone I saw this angel.’
