Our paths collided
at this intersection of time --
I will take with me
the remembrance of you
for I have gained a friend.
Don't let sadness veil your eyes
as if it were a mourning day --
Life goes on and love prevails.
If there is one thing I wish
you would remember me by,
let it be the subtle scent of a fragrant rose
as you passed by the garden of my life
ever blooming with hope.
No need for a farewell now
for I am just passing through
